I have a question. A friend and I are looking at networking our apartments together. They are 160 Feet apart. We were looking at using the Linksys Wireless AP & 4 port Switch. We dont want to use the Wireless PCI Cards, and were wondering, if we could link our networks together using just the 2 access points. Any help will be appreciated. If anyone knows of any other ways to do this, please let me know

the simple answer yes you should..How..??..
The nature of these AP is that a user can roam from one coverage area to another. The fact you are using the switch port shouldn't change anything. What you'll need to do is setup static routing so the routers can communicate and send/recieve packets between them. Since you will be sharing a connection the remote AP will be designated as "router" while yours will be "Gateway".
If you like email me and I can help you with the details.
