Variables: "A" = The wireless router, "B" = The wired router. "X" = 1st computer, "Y" = 2nd computer.
I first connected the A's "Port 1" with B's "Uplink". Then A's "Port 2" with "X". At last B's "Port 4" with "Y". A and B are both Linksys BTW.
Problem: When 1st turned on "X" and placed a connection, "Y" could not connect, so I need to shut down "Y" and unplug the power cord for "B" then plug it back in, turn on "B" and "Y" on again....THEN I can connect. That's so inconvinient cuz I mean why can't I just leave "B" on 24/7 without turning it on and off?
Looking for solutions on:
-What software settings should I adjust?
-Anything wrong with the cables setup?Sorry for the long read. Have a nice weekend.

On some routers the port next to the uplink port does not work correctly if the uplink port is in use.
Leave that port open if you can.
