Hi Recently i upgraded to adsl for our internet and i am quite happy with it. but i do a fair bit of downloading including from file sharing groups.. we dont not have unlimited and are chared for uploads.. does anybody know any programs... or methods of slowing the upload speed of our connection... its connected as a gateway through our hub.. connected via eithernet.. i often leave my downloads going overnight and dont want any nasty surprieses from excessive uploads... i would be happy to lock upload speed at 28 or 56kbit... for not perminantly
This can be done easily if you have a good corporate firewall. Ask your network administrator to set some port/ip based QOS rules.
