Ok. How would I limit bandwidth to certain programs on my computer. I know the logical answer would be to use the program options, but some of the stuff I use consumes way to much bandwidth and it has no throttle on it. I was just hoping XP Pro could alow me to do that some how. Thanks for the help.

netlimiter.com

its perfect for what u want. it monitors and limits program and process bandwidth very nicely, simply and powerfully.

the only downside i found was it doesnt limit "smoothly". this may not matter for ur purposes, but as a gamer i was using it to leave bandwidth for gaming while dling, but it just lets the program/process dl at full speed for a fraction of a second and then seems to block it for the rest of the second, if u know what i mean?

anyway try it out...
