I've seen numerous posts about messages: limited or no connectivity. I use a Motorola surfboard cable modem. I can connect to my computer throught the USB connection, but if i try to use the ethernet connection it shows the message. I've tried disabling one and using the other, notheing works. Installed new NIC card - nothing. I'd leave it as is, but i'm also trying to install a wireless network, and need the ethernet to work?

Those surfboard modems are strange. The latest drivers are a must.

I had a customer with one that I had to connect both USB & Cat5 to get it to work in one room but it worked with just the cat5 in another part of the house.
