My computer currently gives me a limited or no connectivity error.
I am connected through a cable modem into a Linksys five port 10/100 work group switch.
I have three computers, two operating on windows XP(including the problem computer) and one on Vista. The other two computers work fine using the same connection and CAT 5 cable. I can unplug the connection from one computer w/o the problem and plug it into the problem computer and get the error.
Two days ago, the problem existed on the Vista computer and a repairman did something and it started working again. I do not know what he did. I have tried to use the repair connection part of the XP operating system but it did not repair the problem. Any thoughts or suggestions?

What does ipconfig show? Have you rebooted the problem computer? Do you have your NIC connected with a cable to the modem or to the Linksys?
