This morning I connected (with Cat5) two PC's to a hub. One with Premium Vista (the one I am using at the moment) and another with XP.The Vista PC took right to the connection, but the XP system keeps flaging "Limited or No Connectivity". When I attempt to repair using the repair tab in the box it comes back with unable to aquire an IP Address. All of my lights are flashing or lit, doing what they are suppose to be. I have unplugged all cables and reconnected them three times. Still I am getting the same results.

If all the PCs are connected to is a hub it is little wonder that it is unable to acquire an IP address as there is nothing there to deliver one. For that you need a router with a DHCP server built in.
To connected the two computers you need to manually enter the IP address, 192.168.1.2 for one and 192.168.1.3 for the other and 255.255.255.0 for the network mask for both.
