I just got a laptop and I would like to beable to access the internet from school and work but I don't have a phone line that I can hook up to. So I wanted to see about getting a wireless modem for my laptop so that even if I am in my car I can get on to the internet. I am not sure what to get or what to do...can someone help me?

The ony way that you will be able to use wireless anywhere you go is if you are fortunate enough to live in an area where they have wireless spaning throughout a certain part of the city and you have an account with the ISP that hosts it. Otherwise, you would have to have a cell phone that you could use to link up with.
