Laptop (vista), Main (XP) printer issues

Specs: Windows Vista
I have my main CPU which uses XP and my new dell laptop uses Vista, when I try to find the CPU to add a printer on the network, it doesnt see it or find any printers on the network, I can get onto the network to go online, but I cant find a printer or the other CPU's to be able to print.. HELP PLEASE

You need to trust the network that you are on in the Vista Network and Sharing center. By default, all new networks are listed as public in Vista which disables file and printer sharing on the machine.

To do this, open up the Network and Sharing center and you should see a small network map that looks like this


Under this you will see some settings. If you enable file and printer sharing, it will ask you if you want to make this network private, click yes and you should be all set.
