Solved laptop no wifi when plugged in

February 13, 2014 at 01:05:39
Specs: Windows 7
my laptop seems to have trouble connecting to the WIFI when it is plugged in. When not plugged in it seems to connect just fine. It is a Lenovo g505s laptop. It seems like the WIFI strength is affected when plugged in. I also noticed that there is interference on the speakers when it is plugged in as well. Not sure if the two are somehow related or not. Operating system is windows 8. I know this sounds crazy but this is what I am observing.

First, you might want to check in Power Options (in control panel, under system) to make sure 'disable wifi' or something isn't set to turn on when the computer is plugged in.

Have you tried using a different charger yet?
