Hello there, the internet on my laptop (Acer Aspire 5100) keeps kicking me off and I am really not sure why, any help would really be useful- should I HJlog it first or just wait for the first response, Ill just wait- thanks so much in advance.
Hey, I may be able to help you a little bit. Basically, it's hard to explain without enough information. The problem could be many different things.
What i'd like you to do, is try to find the source of the problem. See what works, See what doesn't.
For example, connecting another laptop to your network, If the other laptop works perfect, & your laptop still doesn't, You know the problem may be a setting on your laptop.
If both laptops are losing connection. Then you know It's either your ISP or your router.
Try finding the source yourself first, because it may be something very stupid.If all fails, or you can't work out what could be the problem. Use HiJack This & send the log.
