I have two pc's , both with xp pro linked with a crossed cable (2NIC's). A Cable modem into the main pc which is sharred. My question is on the High Speed/ Lan Connections settings in the control panel, the speed for the 10/100 SMC Card is 100Mbps whereas the speed for the Cable modem (IMeg) is 10mbps. Is this correct???? Surely the cable modem (1Meg) should be faster than the SMC EZ card????? TIA!!!
