Hey all,
Just bought this MOBO in a real $heap deal.

Am going to start building tonight at home
and won't have access to net till i'm done.
What is the difference in the two LAN
features below and which should i use?

"nVIDIAŽ nForce2 MCP and ICS1893 Phy chips"

I'm currently running a Motorola cable modem
and using a cheap NIC card from the cable
company (cough "criminals").

Ok got the computer running fine
(2500xp running @ 200FSB = 3200xp).
WinXP sees the on board Nvidia Lan but
I can't connect to the internet (!).
I snooped around in the BIOS and noticed
that there's a place to insert a
MAC address. Do I need to input my
Motorola's cable modem MAC address here?
If i do, why didn't I have to with the NIC
card in my old system?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
