I have a little problem. I've set up a network between the two computers in my house. I use a Linksys WRT54G router to connect the two and split my internet connection between the two. The above described computer is connected wirelessly, the other one (runnin WinXP Home SP2) is connected with a wire.

Now, I can connect to the wired one through the wireless one. But when I try to connect to this computer through the wired one, it asks for a username + password, even though I've never set one.

How can I remove/change this password?

Also, I allowed all sharing, including printers. I just get an emtpy login box.

Both machines need to have the same accounts and those accounts must have the same password.

In other words pc1 has charlie and jill. Pc2 has charlie and jill. On both the passwords are the same for charlie and the same for jill

Golly gee wilerkers everyone. Learn to Internet Search
