Hi,
i have a LAN internet connection.previously i had dial-up internet connection from which i could access some particular site through downloading and installing their exe.server file ,but with LAN connection i could not able to access that particular site. On contacting the site on telephone , they suggested me to contact with the LAN server for opening the server port of 1501,1502,1503.what may be the possible problem? please help me.

If you have a LAN connection then you have broadband like DSL or cable correct? Do you have a router? If so, then we need to know what brand and model. Are you running a firewall? If so, is it software or hardware?

Not sure I'm following you on what you mean by LAN server?
