I have this notebook which only has a modem installed. 2 questions: 1--Can I have modem and lan cards installed and operational simultaneously? 2--What kind of lan card must I get to fit the notebook case and motherboard?

Yes to your first question. And for the second I would check on Dell's site for NIC's compatible with your notebook. It doesn't mean that you have to buy from Dell, just allows you to get the specs for your paticular Dell model.

Underdog,
Thanks for the input! Your information was right on. I was able to find a combo card at pricewatch for less than 25% of the Dell price!
