Specs: Windows 7
I'm really hoping someone will take pity and help me out here, i have set my cameras up to view on the dvr box, and they are great, but i don't know where to start connecting it up to view my PC, iphone and ipad, i have the cameras set up through my TV and my PC is not far from it, do i need to put an earth-net cable from my router to the dvr, THEN WHAT, ideally i need plain simple instructions step by step what to do, like a child painting by numbers, my router is a Thomson TG585 V7, INTERNET PROVIDER IS TALK TALK. port forwarding ip, its all way over my head, I'm totally helpless here,

Yes you need an Ethernet Patch Cable from the TalkTalk Modem/Router to the DVR.

In chapter 5 of the Manual it explains how to login, though you need to know the IP Address of the DVR which is Chapter 4.6.

Usually the IP address is set by the TalkTalk Modem/Router via DHCP, but is usually best to use a Static IP Address.
