keeping geting disconnected

hi i have a D-Link DGL-4300 Wireless Gaming Router and i keep having truble with keeping my internet connection connected. like when im downloading it losses connection after a min or 2. i had a linksys router before and it had an option to keep the internet connection alive ever couple seconds. Does my router have the same setting to keep my connection connected every few seconds?

Yes your new Router have it too. You can normally find this option in WAN tab in the web based configuration of your router. If you are still not able to find it then just run the setup wizard again and your router will ask you for "Maximum Idle Time". Just fix the problem there. Hope it helps.
