Hi there I have got 3 computers connected over the router. When a computer download something, it slow down other computers' internet speed. Could you let me know, which device can keep the same internet speed? Thanks Andrew

Perhaps there is some way of configuring bandwidth sharing/limitation in your router. Since you haven't told us what model router you're using I guess you'll just have to read the manual yourself and post back letting us know if is has that capability. I used to have a signature but it disappeared and I just couldn't be bothered writing another so please feel free to ingore this.

Andrew, not sure what you are trying to do... limit the download pc? make all pc's bandwidth "equal"?. with the possible exception of 2 systems, there are no broadband cable/dsl routers that have the capability to control bandwidth. Through your selected broadband service plan, your isp limits your aggregate bandwidth to your residence. When one pc uses the 90% of the bandwidth, you 10% left for the remaining systems. Although a very limited marketplace for consumers, there are network devices and software that are capable of limiting a/o controlling network a/o application bandwidth. P2E
