If no, it's likely the interface in your laptop. In that case you'll want to ensure you have the more up-to-date drivers for the device. If that doesn't fix the problem, the next thing to try would be un/reinstall the TCP/IP stack. If that doesn' do the trick you can try removing the device in device manager and let windows install it again. If that doesn't do the trick, try another wireless adapter.
