I have an HP Pavilion notebook, and my wife has a Toshiba, and we have a home network with a Motorola modem and a D-link Airplus Extreme G router. With both laptops (but more frequently mine), when I leave it in standby or sleep mode, I have to re-boot to re-connect to the net. Right clicking on the wireless icon and "repair" doesn't work. It doesn't always happen, and happens less frequently with the same setup in my office up the road, with the same router and settings. I have Zone Alarm installed. Any ideas?
