hello everyone.
I have a d-link router(wireless) not sure of the exact model. Now I have home web server running. So what I want is that when anyone uses my internet connect i want their browser to go my homepage (running on the home server) regardless what their browser homepage is set too. is this possible?

Actually it could be done.
Why?
I read it wrong and answer it wrong too. So get off my case you goober.

"Actually it could be done."
Why not tell us how and help out PeterScott?
Imagine the power if you knew how to internet search

Isn't there a "gateway" or something that does this? I remember when connecting to the wireless at airports, it reroutes me to a particular web page for payment/login options.

Its a proxy setting/config if I recall correctly.

you could do this through group policy if your networks machines are all compliant OS's. bit excessive for a home network tho.

nosey aren't ya, readin me sig?

Decker I believe a GPO could only set the default web page and not what the OP wants which is autoredirection to his web interface despite what is the default web page.

We used to do that here at work.
Create a local user account on the PC. Login as that user. Open IE and set the homepage to your web address. Then logout.
Login as administrator. Browse to your C:\Documents and Settings folder. Make sure you are viewing hidden and system files. Delete the Default User folder. Rename the folder that matches the user you created to "Default User". Edit the properties of that folder, go to security, and give "everyone" read rights to that the "default user" folder. Logout.
Now, when a new user logs in, because you set the default user's homepage, all new users get that home page.
This will only work on NEW profiles created. So, you'll have to delete any current profiles (back up data first!!!!) and have the users log back in.\
