I plan to set up a wireless network in my home. I have 3 computers, 2 of which are in the same room. Would it be possible to either buy three wireless networking adapters and them all work without a router or network 2 of the pc's wirelessly and then use a crossover cable to network to the other. Could someone please tell me if either of those r possibleand if i will be able to acess all 3 pc's, Thanks, Adam P.S there are basic diagrams of my two proposed ideas on this page http://www.adamsfiles.150m.com

get a wireless router with a built in switch. put it in the same room as the two computers. plug the two computers into the switch with straight thru cables. get a 802.11 (wireless) NIC for your third computer. that would be the cheapest way to go.

A wireless card for each running an Ad-hoc network might work for you. Less management on your side, using windows as a router can sometimes be a pain. You can always get a Wireless Access Point (WAP) later.
