Old games like duke nukem 3d require IPX network to play on a network. Becuase the internet is tcp/ip it is "impossible" to play against opponents online without the use of game servers suck as kali and mplayer. I was wondering if there was a way to program a program (too many programs :) ) in VB. i can use the winsock control and everythign i just want to know if it was possible to emulate an ipx network over the internet and how would i go about doing that in VB.
