I want to know if there is any way i can find out the ip address of someone in chatting to on yahoo or msn messenger. i know netstat works but it closes by it self. is there any programs i can download or buy. someone told me you can do that with NeoMoniter but i cant find it anywere on the net... can anyone help me...
don't know a network monitor would be overkill but they usualy provide a summery connections in real time.
netstat -p tcp > file will give you a record of current tcp connecitons
Don't think MSN or Yahoo will let you see ip's of people your talking too anyway. Maybe if you get them to do a file transfer.

"netstat closes by itself"
run netstat from a command prompt, not the run box.
