hey everyone. I have just gone up to my cottage, and cannot use the internet on one of my laptops. It is a wireless network, and my other laptop works fine. The problem is that it shows it is dectecting and connecting to the network, with excellent signal, but has "limited or not connectivity" When I hit repair it says it cannot perform the operation because "cannot renew IP adrress"... I tried restarting, enabling and disabling the adapter, system restore point, a windows guided help to fix winsock curroption, a seperate program to fix winsock...nothing seems to work except I found that the netsh command to reset the IP (netsh int ip ipreset resetlog.txt or whatever it is.) When I enter this all of a sudden I am able to connect and there no limited or no connectivity, but when I try to go online it cannot find server and msn says my deafault gateway is offline. all help appreciated.
