I have dsl with a hawking modem/router in one. I have my computer with IIS running and I want to be able to let people see my site. So i set up an ip filter that I defined to accept all traffic from any ip on port 80 to my server's ip and port 80 on my lan. Everything looks right, however, when i send people to my site they get the prompt to login to my router. I can't figure out what the problem is, can somebody advise me? Thanks

I'm assuming your router has a web based setup like most now days, is that possibly the login screen that your friends/clients are seeing?? (Is their a web based setup for your router?)
If so look for a setting to turn off remote access(WAN access) or perhaps change the port that you use to access your routers setup.
Another option is to use another port # for IIS and change your router settings to reflect the different port in this case the URL to your site would be: http://www.domain.com:1234/
