I have an IP conflict error on ICS when I enable all the computers. But then, all computers can access the internet. It's sound no problem for the ICS but why would the IP conflicted?

An IP address conflict usually occurs when one computer has a static (fixed) IP address. If one PC has a static IP, you should set them all to static IPs. Otherwise, change the TCP/IP settings in Network Properties so it obtains it automatically.

By the way, when two computers do have a conflict, they won't be able to see each other until you reboot. Try the following on a computer that gets a conflict.

Start -> Run -> cmd -> OK

Type these commands in, pressing Enter after each one.

ipconfig /release
ipconfig /flushdns
ipconfig /renew

Then restart and do it on the other PC as well.

Ok, I did those mentioned above. Still I got IP conflict on the Gateway computer if it didn't online (or I put it there without IE or MSN online). Why huh? Strange isn't it?

OK then, your best bet is to set static IP addresses on all of the machines. Call the main/first one 192.168.0.1, then 192.168.0.2 and so on.

Then reboot them all. Tell me how it goes,

My setting is like:

IP: 192.168.1.1
Mask: 255.255.255.0

the other two is:
IP: 192.168.1.3
Mask: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: 192.168.1.1

IP: 192.168.1.4
Mask: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: 192.168.1.1

But will have IP conflict still can online... But then, if I use the above you mentioned, can't get sharing... No conflict of course..
