im using a linksys dsl router how do i find my ip adress i know the defaults used in setting the sharing net work,but i have it set to a dynamic ip .i cant find my ip to tell folks so they can connect for games please help!!

It depends on the OS you use.

Win95/98 uses winipcfg
WinNT/2K/XP use ipconfig /all

It sounds like you want the IP on the WAN side of the router. Login to your router, default is 192.168.1.1, select the status tab, look under WAN section; r go to www.whatismyip.com and it will tell you. You may have to setup port forwarding or DMZ host on the router depending on the game you want to play across the internet.

can anyone tell me how to, or if it's possible to search an AOL IP? i'm needing to know the EXACT CITY his emails are coming from. it's either chicago, or a chicago suburb. please let me know! thanx!
