im using a linksys dsl router how do i find my ip adress i know the defaults used in setting the sharing net work, but i have it set to a dynamic ip .i cant find my ip to tell folks so they can connect for games please help!!
It sounds like you want the IP on the WAN side of the router. Login to your router, default is 192.168.1.1, select the status tab, look under WAN section; r go to www.whatismyip.com and it will tell you. You may have to setup port forwarding or DMZ host on the router depending on the game you want to play across the internet.
