I am not computer savvy and still learning the basics. When I do Network Diagnostics it shows that my
1)WAN Miniport (IP) failed
-default IP Gateway (204.248.125.132) failed
-request timed out
-IP Address (204.248.125.132) failed
-request timed out
2)Microsoft TV/Video Connection failed
-default IP gateway(204.248.125.132) failed
-request timed out
-IP Address(204.248.125.132) failed
-request timed out
What I did about it:
-I went to >Network connections to >status to >support and it showed the
Client IP address: 204.248.125.132
Server IP address: 204.248.125.2 whoa, is that the problem? missing a couple numbers?
I also did the ipconfig command (apparently to ensure that my network adapter is not in a Media disconnected state. It is disconnected. So now what? Remember I'm a rookie, so please keep it in simple computer language. Thank you, thank you for any advice. Bernie

Take the pc to your local shop. Appears you have a hardware failure or the bios needs to be properly configured to enable these onboard devices.

Imagine the power if you knew how to internet search

What are you trying to do? Get a network connection? If so, how are you connecting? LAN? Cable Modem? DSL? A little more information would be good.

Life is more painless for those who are brainless.
