I would like to know the IP address of a yahoo chat user(spammer), while I am in any of the chat rooms. Most often I am spammed by unknown users which I wanted to report to yahoo-abuse. Anyone related websites on how to find the IP address of a yahoo chat user?

I know its easy to get a users IP if they are using ICQ. but thats becuase when you are chatting, the computers connect directly to relay the info. in the case of MSN and most likely Yahoo, this will not happen as the message is relayed through the Yahoo Server thus the IP you get is that of Yahoo. Hwever, in the Case of MSN, if you send a file or accept a file from a user, then it will become a direct connection. I think the same applies to Yahoo. So if you get this guy to accept a file or get one from him, while the transfer is in progress, bring up command prompt (in accessories) and type: netstat -n
this will show you all the IPS your pc is involved in. before or after the transfer, make note of the ones there and compare. the one that stands out, is your spammin b---tard. :)
