Internet stops working after about 30 mins...

Specs: Windows Vista
This is my first time using this forum, so heres hoping i get some feedback.

Anyways, the problem is that after boot, or connection to the internet, I have about 30 minutes to surf the web before it stops working. Now I have disconnected and reconnected to the network, still not working. Tried turning off firewall same problem.

I think it has something to do with ip leasing from a quick google, but still not sure how to adjust that-i have scoured my router settings with no luck. The only thing that solves the problem is a reboot, not simply a logoff.

It is a brand new, like within a week laptop, which I have installed zone alarm free and avast anti virus on the minute i turned it on, before connecting to the net physically.

I would appreciate the help, using Vista with all service packs, IE current, current zone alarm and avast definitions and versions.
