Comment:

I have a small network of two computers wired together with an ethernet crossover cable(no router) and a cable modem attached to the first computer via USB. It worked fine until one of the ip's got cleared out and now the network is messed up. The cable modem works fine on the host until the ethernet cable is connected, then the internet does not work at all. ANY ideas would be appriciated.
