My computer crashed yesterday and after rebooting I could no longer connect to the internet. I am using a Linksys WRT54G router. The computer's lan connection connects and gets an automatic private ip. The connection is set to get an ip address automatically and DHCP is enabled on the router. I have two other computers on the router and they are both working normally still getting 192.168.1.xxx ips. The other two computers are connected wirelessly but I have connected one of them to the same router port as my computer and it still worked fine. If anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it.

Have you tried rerunning the network setup wizard located in "My Network Places"? When you go to my network places on left hand side, choose to set up a home or small office network. That will launch the wizard. Reboot the PC when the wizard is finished.
You may also have some corrupted drivers. If the above doesn't work. then I would go into "Device Manager" and right click on your network card and remove it from the device manager list. Then reboot and let windows find it again. Then run the network wizard again and reboot.
If that doesn't work. Go into the network adapter's settings and make sure that the default gateway has the IP address of your router listed.
