I just got this computer as a kind of on the go thing. However every time I try and download anything (Even java) the connection kicks off for a second and reconnects as if nothing happens. some Downloads can jump from where they were disconnected, but some - some important ones I might add - die off. I am not sure why and I was hoping someone could help.

The network is fine, everyone in the house has access, and its at most 2 computers on net at a time.
Its specific to my computer - so I believe its a problem with mine.
It happens most specifically with movie downloads, (say a stream from youtube or even abc.com episode watcher) or any downloads that are bigger then say a word doc or simple program. Like I said - even java gets kicked off.
