Why does my Internet Explorer say that I am offline when it shows I am connected to my wireless network? I already have one laptop running just fine on my wireless network. I added another laptop to the network and everything appeared to go just fine, except when I go to IE it shows I am offline. It won't connect to the internet. I have checked all of the IP settings and they are the same as my other laptop. Also, my wireless shows "connected" at excellent strength.
Please help.

Is there another browser, such as Firefox, on the machine, to use as a test? Can you ping google.com ?
try to restore the default settings and reset web settings in internet options. if it won't work, try to reinstall IE through the add/remove windows components in the add/remove programs in the control panel.i recommend restart the pc after removing and putting IE back in the add/remove windows components. If you, if you could return, don't let it burn, don't let it fade.
