I.E. 6 - I keep getting the following on all sites : The page cannot be displayed. After hitting refresh a couple times it loads. PC sits behind 4 port router with another XP box wired. Cable modem. Options under tools are set to default. Using Norton Internet Security. Other box is using MS firewall. Any settings to be aware of in the router setup: netgear 4-port 802.11b MR814v2. Thanks

Dude, There is no easy way to resolve except troubleshoot. If this was working before and settings have not been changed start basic. It could be as simple as a low signal on the cable to changes in their network. Try to ping a website that you know the ip for. See what kind of reponse you get. If this is slow, track down the usual network suspects. Also, make sure your virus protection, spyware protections etc. is working and has run full checks lately. Also, you may want to use Netstat to make sure no trojans, etc. are trying to connect when you open IE. Hope this helps.

"If this is slow, track down the usual network suspects" What does that mean? I have run full scans with NAV, Ad-Aware, Spybot, CWShredder, + ... didn't find anything. This was after I removed backdoor.coreflood per Norton rermoval instructions. That had really caused it to stop, even my pc. It was only on my pc for a few hours though since NAV detected it. It hasn't reappeared. could it still be causing some issues? Thanks.
