I just got a linksys wireless adapter, everything looked good until it got connected. The connection seems to be fine until a couple of minutes have passed and the internet seems to stop connecting. I can see that the packets sent and received dont really do anything now. what is the issue? is it because im using the neighbors internet (i already know the p/w) or too much interference. Or could it be possible that the settings for the packets have been modified from the Tuneup Utilities speed optimizer? if you need more info feel free to ask. very frustrating because the fact i spent this money on this linksys. o btw my labtop used a belkin but it seemed to connect fine and the packets sent and received are always moving

Could be the "Tuneup Utilities speed optimizer" might have optimized something you didn't expect it to, like something in the registry. It doesn't appear to do anything useful you can't do with standard Windows tools (or a few extra freebies), and I wouldn't let it loose on MY registry.
