Internet connection unaivalable

I have two pc using win98se and both are connected to internet using a switcher, the problem is that the other pc cannot connect to internet. I checked all connectors and are ok but no internet available. The other pc has no problem it worksfine. Till yesterday all was working fine. what checks should I do? rgds mloo55

what is a "switcher"? Do you mean switch?
Most ISP's only give you one ip address so you can only have one pc on the internet. That's why most of us buy routers so we can use multiple machines on the internet. A router can translate the ISPs provided ip address into many. A switch can't do that.
If this is what is going on with you, you need to buy a router.
Give a person a fish, they eat for a day. Suggest they internet search and they learn a skill for a lifetime.
