Hi, i have a problem. I have to computers. one with windows 2000 and one with 95. I have DSL internet. I have the DSL run into a router and then both my computers connected to the router. I can connect to the internet on both but not at the same time. If i enable internet sharing on my windows 2000 pc then it isnt able to connect to the internet. i hvae the same username to login to DSL with. i also have file and print sharing and the computers see each other just fine. how can i get my computers to connect to DSL at the same time.

I would think, that you haven't properly setup your router.
The following is a general description of how I think the router should be setup.
1) The WAN (internet)site, obtains or has the fixed IP-address provided by your ISP.
2) Primary- and Secondary DNS address of your ISP is entered into the router.
3) The router is provided with the username and password to connect to your ISP.
4) The LAN site of your router has a fixed IP-address, for example: 192.168.0.1 and Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
5) The LAN site, your computers, obtain a IP-address of the router.
In other words DHCP is enabled on the router. Starting address: 192.168.0.10, and Ending address: 192.168.0.100 (and Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0)
6) The Default Gateway for your computers would be the fixed IP-address of the router, 192.168.0.1.
7) If applicable, enable the firewall on your router.I hope the above covered all, and that I didn't forget something. :)
BTW, Internet Connection Sharing shouldn't be needed on either computer.
Best of luck!
