Comment: Hello, I have a network of 4 computers in my office. I am using the microsoft internet connection sharing through a hub with this comp as host. It works, however it automatically disconnects all the client computers after 5-10mins of usage. Then I found that the service "internet connection sharing" was stoped (in services.msc) so I start it again. But same thing happens after 5-10mins it turns the service off. I try to set it on automatic and manual but both didn't work. so how can I let it stay active and keep it that way? thanks I am using windows 2000 Brad

Reply: (edit)there is a patch for this on MS site. It is a registry import that increases the timeout settings for mapped drives. I dont remember the nam of it as it has been a while since I needed it but, search on microsoft, you'll find it.
