UHHGG! I have South Western Bell DSL and I'm having trouble getting this ICS crap to work. I have tried every configuration known to man.

The modem is an Alcatel Speed PC. The ethernet is an onboard ethernet adpt. SIS900 on a PC Chips M810LMR. Before ICS is installed everything works fine. I can transfer files from computer to computer no prob. The main computer providing the internet access is running 98, the other one trying to get ICS access is running W2k same MOBO. In Ipconfig, I'm getting 4 adapters to show up. 1)Dial up 2) Alcatel 3)Efficient PPPoE 4) SIS900 onboard

When I install ICS I run IPconfig and the SIS900 is missing. I guess that is to be expected? Anyway, in ICS I set SIS900 to be (HOME) and the Internet providing DSL modem to be (SHARED). Of course this is the right config. http://www.annoyances.org/exec/show/ics_98
Anyway, here's what I get w/ that config. File transfer & sharing OK! I connect to the internet but I cannot!! browse!!! ICQ won't come up. Nothing comes up!
I've tried all possible configs.. The only way I can have ICS installed and talk to you right now is if the config is set to:
HOME= Alcatel SHARED= SIS900ethernet
Yes that's what I sayed BASS ACKWARDS GUYS and it works. BUT! no file sharing... can't connect to my computer! sooo weird.. When things are backwards, how do you know what to do? I'm sure you guys do. All I have to do is hope you will give my question the time and effort to read and reply. Please help me? You're not talking to a dumba$$ that you'll have to explain the same thing to 5 times in a row. I appreciate your time.
