have 2 other comps connected by a router to my modem via a nic card
how do i add this comp with W'98 to this scenario for intermnt conn

How many LAN ports on your router?

Generally, you plug a new device into a LAN port on the router. If all of it's LAN ports are full, you buy a switch, plug it into a LAN port on the router and then any further clients, into the switch.

spare port on my router but it doesn't work
perhaps i need to run the setup for the router
can't remember how it ran last time
