How do other wireless devices (such as tablets, phones other laptops, etc.) work on your WiFi? Are they consistent with the connection or do they have problems as well?

Try power cycling your router, remove the power cord for about 10 seconds then plug it back in. If it's only happening with one device, you could try going to the manufacturer's website and installing the latest drivers for your device.

So my guess would be issues with your router. As I said before, try removing the power to your router for about 10 seconds, then plug it back in and see if that fixes the issue.

If that doesn't work, you might have a faulty router. Did you purchase this router or was it supplied by your ISP?

"All over your home"
Depending on the signal transmission strength of your router and the construction of your house (concrete walls with rebar?) signal reception will vary at any location within your home.

If you place the PC/device in front of your router, do you still have problems?

January 8, 2016 at 05:37:32 was supplied by my ISP (Verizon).

@sluc....yes, I can sit at the pc and still get the buffering from my tablet.

@TH & sluc ...I have ISP service tech coming on sunday, will see if they can "fix" the problem

Thanks for the help!

Good luck, keep us posted. Just for giggles, try the power cycling option, it may help.
