Internet conks out at regular times usually around 10 P.M.

Specs: Windows 8
At night, usually around 10 but sometimes earlier, my internet just conks out and I can only get a webpage, most of the time just half a page, to appear after ten to fifteen refreshes. I have rigorously cleaned it with the help of someone here, but still this keeps happening. Resource Manager shows no internet activity at all and then suddenly spikes to 100 kbps. It has been this way since I bought the laptop. Help?

(Did they move you here or did you double post?)

Since it occurs regularly at about the same time it might be due to a scheduled task kicking in. It doesn't seem like would affect your internet as drastically as yours is but if that is the reason you may want to look into a better connection or at least more ram.

You can check the task scheduler and task manager to see what you've got going on with it:

What type of internet connection do you have?
If you have a shared connection like Cable and your neighborhood cable is overloaded, then between TV, on demand TV, and others on the internet, usage may be peaking at that time.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.

As I posted in the beginning, it is not always around the same time. Usually I notice it around 10 PM. Websites don't seem to load then unless I switch to wifi.
