Hello,
I'm not too bright when it comes to computers. All of the rooms in my house are prewired for high speed internet, but as of now, I only have one computer hooked to the net. I'll soon be getting two more computers. I tried getting access in one of the prewired rooms, but to no avail. Our house has a structured wiring system. I was told that I need to get a router. Is this correct? Is installing a router difficult, and how does one go about doing so?

Thank you,
Johnny

Hi-

Installing a router is not difficult. I would recommond linksys BEFSR41 for 4 or less computers. You need to include your internet connection and a little more info as far as where the prewired wires in your home lead to for people to help with this problem. hth, and mail me at my email address without the NoSPaM mAPSoN if you want me to follow up-
