Specs: Windows Vista
My computer is not wireless so I have needed a wireless router from Time Warner. Directions tell me to connect to my computer. Will that solve the fact that my computer is not built in wireless?

It should work to the internet via the cable and router if that's what you mean.
The computer will still not be wireless though.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

Chances are Time Warner uses the same device for all their clients. While I'm not positive, it's likely they gave you what we call a "combo device" Which is to say, a device that's a combination modem, router, and wireless access point.

If that's the case, and you don't have any wireless devices then I advise you to not enable a Wireless network (WLAN) in your home. If you plug your PC into a LAN port on the device, that will give you internet connectivity if everything is configured correctly.
