You would have to get faster network interfaces on all equipment in your network. So if your XP PC's present NIC is 100 Mbps, you'd need to get a 1000 Mbps NIC and install it. You'd also have to ensure everything else in your network was 1000 Mbps because a network only runs at the speed of it's slowest device.

The slowest device is usually the hard drive.
yvinod123 your question is too general. You need to specifically state why you think your network is slow and cite specific examples. You would also need to tell us the topology [how and what is connected to what], ram, cpu etc
