Hi, I have a tough question that for sometimes i have not able to find articles on about this situation. I have a windows 98 with a dialup networking server running on it. At my end, I have a desktop dual boot with windows ME and windows 2000 prof. loaded on it. I can connect to my windows 98 machine fine via dialup networking using windows ME or a machine that has windows 98 loaded. The problem I encounter is when I try to dial in using windows 2000, its tends to ask more questions then my 98 OS did. It ask for a user name, and password, that was fine, the it asked for a domain name? Keep in mind, that my windows 98 dialup server is not part of any big network, just a stand alone computer and trying to exchange files back and fourth. Is there any reason for this? thanks..
