Good Day to all!! I am using bellsouth 2wire dsl. I am trying to share about 150 mb of mp3's with my brother who stays in Ill. I'm in Georgia. Can someone tell me if there is a freeware or shareware file sharing program I can use? He just moved about a month ago for college. I'm going to send him his cpu in a couple of weeks. In the meantime he is using an internet cafee and the library. I have some mp3s and clips of family videos I want him to see. Is this possible? I already have things organized. I dl File Share Pro but it hasn't worked. I changed my firewall, etc.. I can access it on the other home cpu but he couldn't access it. Any programs that I can use? Or does anyone know of any free sites with 100mb of disk space for uploading mp3s? I am using 2 wire dsl, windows 98 se. 1 other thing---we try'd yahoo messenger file transfer. And that didn't work. I found some sites that had 30mb of space etc... but one file is actually about 50mb by itself. thanks

Try setting up an FTP server (File Transfer Protocol) with something like http://www.bpftpserver.com/ just remember to open the firewall ports (20,21) and if your using a router set up the port forwarding

you would be wise to just burn the info to cdr and send him the cd via snail mail.
You will spend far less lifespan on this then setting up a ftp server, uploading and all the rest.
